Do I have to set up an account before I can watch the video?
Yes. Beacon Hill is a subscription service. You will need to create an account by clicking on the subscribe button and following the steps.
- Click on the subscription button.
- A new confirmation page will appear. Click on the $9.99 button.
- A payment screen will appear. Select your payment method. (Paypal, Credit card etc)
- Enter your email address at the screen prompt. Your email address will become YOUR USER ID.
- Set up an account by creating a password
How much is the subscription?
The price is $9.99 for the full first season. You will be able to watch it when you want to and as many times - commercial free - as you want to by loging into your account.
Please note that subscriptions are Non Refundable.
Do you accept paypal?
Yes we accept paypal as well as all major credit cards.
I have subscribed. Now what?
Once you have subscribed, you can log in in at any time to view the episodes that have been released.
How often will the episodes be released?
Each episode will be released once a week but if you have missed a release day, no worries. All episodes remain available to watch at any time and as many times as you'd like.
I see the name Tiny Pass where I need to subscribe and on the receipt of the payment that I made. What is Tiny Pass?
Tiny Pass is the subscription service provider that Beacon Hill has partnered with to manage the payment and subscription service.
Who should I contact if I'm having anyproblems with the video playback, the gift subscriptions or anything else on the site?

Can I gift a Subscription to someone else?
Yes! Just click on this link.
Firefox browsers may have issues with the gift subscription page not loading correctly. The workaround is to use a different browser.
In older versions of Internet Explorer, the player may not load properly. The workaround is to upgrade your IE browser to version 11 or use a different browser.
Can I change the email address associated with my account?
Yes. Log into Tinypass at https://dashboard.tinypass.com/, and click on the icon in the right in the top menu bar. A dropdown menu will appear with “Account Settings” as one of the options. Click on that and edit your email address.
Will Beacon Hill play on my mobile device?
Yes the following minimum software versions are currently required:

Do you support Closed Captioning?
Yes we support both English and Spanish closed captioning. Place your cursor over the video player and you should be able to see the CC icon. You can choose to turn it on/off and choose the caption language there by clicking on the CC icon.
If you try to select the captioning language and only see "unknown", refresh your browser and you should then be able to see the languages offered.
Note on Displaying Captions on iOS devices (iPads, iPods & iPhones):
Captions will not display on iOS devices when the player is in full screen mode. Video always plays in full screen mode on an iPhone, so there's no way to overlay captions. Captions will display on iPads when the player is not in full screen mode.
My Android Device doesn't play the video very well.
We strongly recommend that you go to the Google Play store and download the FREE Chrome browser and launch the website in Chrome. It plays beautifully.
Why does my playback quality vary?
The bit rate for playback is set in the player automatically based on your internet speed. If your internet speed (which is generally based on the traffic through your ISP when you watch, not necessarily what your modem can handle) is slower, the bit rate is lower to prevent buffering. In other words, the bit rate is based on what your connection can handle at the time you’re viewing.
How can I tell if I've logged out?
If you do not share a computer or device with anyone else, you don't have to log out of your account when you're done viewing videos. The next time you come to the page, the player will automatically load without prompting you to log in. If you'd like to logout, click on the logout button below the player. The player should go away and the cast photo with the Subscribe & Log In buttons will display.
